"......I have always been fascinated by Australian birds. I have spent my life travelling to every state, observing, sketching and photographing them. The Australian landscape has changed dramatically since European settlement. The introduction of exotic animals and plants coupled with the wholesale destruction of vast tracts of land, has disfigured and scarred our country. However, there still exist pockets of largely untouched wilderness. These wild places are my inspiration. These are places where man forms an insignificant part of the environment. My paintings are an attempt to capture the beauty of what is left of God's original creation......"
